Bethlehem, PA — November 8, 2016 

Just Born Quality Confections, the maker of iconic candy brands PEEPS®, MIKE AND IKE®, HOT TAMALES® and GOLDENBERG’S® PEANUT CHEWS®, welcomes Rachel Hayden to the company in the role of Vice-President and Chief Information Officer. Rachel joins Just Born from Berry Plastics where she was Senior Director of IT responsible for Global Business Systems leading business analysis, project management and application development teams. Prior to Berry Plastics, she worked for Fujitsu America where she provided high-level consulting to Coca-Cola, Honeywell and Perdue Farms.

As a member of the Just Born executive team, Rachel will be responsible for defining, planning, and implementing all information technology and communications activities required to support the strategic business plans of the company. “Rachel brings a wealth of experience and an impressive track record of success to her new role of Vice-President and Chief Information Officer at Just Born. We look to her to drive IT’s mission of fostering collaborative relationships, sustaining effective customer service and contributing to the company’s achievement of overall 2017 goals and milestones” said Just Born Quality Confections President and Chief Operating Officer David Yale, to whom Rachel will report.

Rachel brings more than 20 years of IT and Senior Management experience to the Bethlehem, PA confection company. Her extensive IT career began after she received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Universities of South and North Carolina respectively.
