Disclosure
At Just Born, we are committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We recognize the importance of preventing human trafficking and slavery in our supply chain and operations. In compliance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657), we provide the following information regarding our efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from our direct supply chain for tangible goods offered for sale.
1. Verification
Just Born does not currently conduct verification of human trafficking and slavery supply chain risks, either internally or independently. In 2026, Just Born intends to launch a Responsible Sourcing Policy, Supplier Code of Conduct and a supplier questionnaire addressing risks of human trafficking and slavery in our supply chain. This verification will be conducted internally by Just Born and not by a third party.
2. Auditing
In 2026, Just Born intends to update its standard contracts to provide for the ability to conduct on-site audits of suppliers to evaluate compliance with standards regarding human trafficking and slavery in its supply chain. Just Born does not currently conduct such audits but intends to do so in the future.
3. Certification
Just Born’s standard purchase terms and conditions require its direct suppliers to represent that materials, goods, and services they furnish to Just Born comply with federal, state, and local laws in the country or countries in which they are doing business. Just Born intends to include supplier certification requirements in its supplier code of conduct.
4. Internal Accountability
Just Born does not currently maintain internal accountability standards and procedures for employees or contractors failing to meet its standards regarding slavery and trafficking. Just Born intends to initiate such standards and procedures in the future.
5. Training
While Just Born does not currently provide training on human trafficking and slavery to its employees and management who have direct responsibility for supply chain management, we will continue to review and implement training in the future.
